About this street
Cách Mạng Tháng 8 — named for the August Revolution of 1945 — is a long, straight arterial heading north-west from District 1. Six lanes wide in places, with long gaps between pedestrian crossings.
Buses join the flow here, and buses do not swerve like motorbikes. Locals cross on a diagonal, reading the gaps as they go. You can too — the only rule is to keep moving at a pace the traffic can read.

The rule on every street: walk at one steady speed. Riders read your line and flow around you. Speed up, slow down or stop, and they can no longer predict you.
