About this street
Đồng Khởi runs from Notre-Dame Cathedral down to the Saigon River, crossing the wide Lê Lợi boulevard by the Opera House. It is the postcard centre of the city — hotels, cafés, tourists and wedding photo shoots.
The boulevards are wide and the traffic is mixed: families on one bike, riders carrying three people, and fast young riders weaving between them. The width is the challenge — there is a lot of road to cover at one speed.
